A cheer that means “Victory to Minnesota,” “Ski-U-Mah” has been the U of M battle cry since 1884. Originally created by rugby players John W. Adams and “Win” Sargent as a cheer for their team, it quickly caught on with the rest of the student body and was incorporated into school songs such as “Minnesota Rouser,” “Go Gopher Victory,” “Minnesota Fight,” and “Minnesota March.” Today you can see the phrase on the Gopher football team helmets. Hole near armpit

I love the shirt. I love how it fits and how soft it is. The only negative is there is a hole near the armpit. It looks like it got snagged and then a little hole was the result. I saw this immediately when I opened it. I love the shirt and will still wear it but I am hoping the hole doesn’t get bigger as time goes on.
