Uga (pronounced UH-guh) is the official live mascot of the University of Georgia. When a bulldog was brought to the first home game of the 1956 season, football coach Wally Butts asked if he could be used as the school mascot. It was then suggested to name him “Uga” as a play on the UGA initials. You can find Uga at every home football game, many away games, and other events throughout the year. Deceased Ugas are even interred in a mausoleum near the main entrance to Sanford Stadium, as Georgia is the only school to bury its past mascots inside the football stadium.

Great fit, super soft, and love the print!

I ordered this shirt to bring to the Georgia/Florida game this year. I was so happy when I received it, as it was the softest shirt I've ever felt! The logo is printed beautifully and clear. The packaging was solid, and I appreciate the love they put into the presentation. The fit was good. I ordered a small, and am 5'4, 135. It was a bit long, but that is how shirts are for me generally! Overall, I'm super happy and excited to show it off! Will definitely be buying more in the future!
