It’s the most famous shot in Indiana basketball history. Keith Smart’s shot from the baseline with four seconds remaining in the 1987 championship game gave the Hoosiers a 74-73 lead over Jim Boeheim and Syracuse at the Louisiana Superdome. Smart also intercepted a desperation full-court pass by Syracuse, giving the Hoosiers their fifth national title (and third in 12 years). Smart happily throwing the ball up in the air as time expires is a yearly staple in March Madness montages throughout the tournament.
Products are mocked up on a size S. Graphics may appear smaller on larger sizes.
