Head coach Jimmy Satterfield took the reins from Dick Sheridan after his six Southern Conference titles in the late 70s and early 80s to lead the Paladins back to the top of the league in 1988. With the top defense in the nation (only allowing 9.7 ppg), Furman stormed through the I-AA (FCS) playoffs. They took down Delaware, Marshall, and Idaho before defeating Georgia Southern in the title game, becoming the first private school to ever win the I-AA national championship. Products are mocked up on a size S. Graphics may appear smaller on larger sizes.

Our unisex tees run true to size. If you're looking for a roomier fit, we suggest sizing up!

The purple is too light.

The purple ink on this shirt is too light, almost lavender, and faded on first washing. It's basically the same value as the gray shirt, so you can hardly read it. Great design, but the shirt doesn't match the photo.
