Sparty made his first appearance as a live mascot in 1955, when three Theta Xi fraternity brothers created his papier-mâché head. He was given a slight refresh when the mask was recreated in fiberglass in 1956 before being fully revamped into the cartoonishly ripped Sparty costume we know and love today. Great look, great fit.

Hats fit great and are a massive hit with my wife and her family, all MSU alums. Makes me want to go buy Homefield hats for schools I have no affiliation to!
