Howard used this sleek wordmark for decades, beginning in 1974. They paired this mark with a charging Bison silhouette logo designed by football alumnus John Dupree, which featured a racing stripe emerging from its horn. Famously (or infamously, depending who you ask), an NFL team debuted an eerily similar logo the same year. Though Howard retired both the logo and wordmark in 2015, we’re proud to bring the wordmark back as a small tribute to the Bison– who are often imitated, but never truly duplicated.
Products are mocked up on a size S. Graphics may appear smaller on larger sizes.
