While Harry the Husky is UW’s adorable costumed mascot, Washington uses Alaskan Malamutes for their live mascots. The specific breed was chosen for its large size and strength relative to other husky breeds. This ‘80s-era Husky illustration is probably not a specific dog, but we think it looks just like Sundodger Denali, the seventh live mascot who served around this time. Brought to you in partnership with College Vault.

Disappointing Quality

Material feels stiff. It shrank in my dryer unfortunately so the fit is tight. I love the design but the quality of what it is printed on makes me not want to wear.
