Though Indiana and Purdue first faced off on the gridiron in 1891, the Old Oaken Bucket did not become the rivalry trophy until 1925, when the teams played to a 0-0 tie. Since then, the in-state opponents have faced off for the Bucket annually during the final week of the regular season.
Inspired by game day posters in the late '80s and '90s, this design harkens back to the stretch from 1987 to 1996, when Indiana won 7 out of 10 matchups in the series, in hopes the Hoosiers "Bring Back the Bucket" to its rightful home in Bloomington.
Products are mocked up on a size S. Graphics may appear smaller on larger sizes.
Our unisex tees run true to size. If you're looking for a roomier fit, we suggest sizing up!
