Scrappy the Owl is Kennesaw State’s official athletic mascot, supporting the Fighting Owls wherever they fly. This specific version of Scrappy we’ve featured here is Scrappy with a bit of a facelift– the original mascot bore more resemblance to the Kansas Jayhawk than any sort of owl. According to his official biography from KSU athletics, he is originally from Owlberta, but currently keeps his nest at the Kennesaw State National Battlefield.
