This interlocked OU logo was used officially from 1979 to 2000. Known affectionately as Oklahoma’s “Disco” logo, it evokes fond memories for Sooners, particularly their football national championship in 1985. Film buffs, of course, know this logo (used on our knit sweater as a chenille patch) from the beloved movie Twister.
