“For Boston, for Boston, we sing our proud refrain!” The title of the oldest fight song in America (written by T.J. Hurley, BC class of 1885) fits perfectly with the Boston College eagle running with a football that we discovered on a vintage button. The nickname and mascot for BC athletics was given by Father Edward McLaughlin in 1920. He described the eagle as the symbol of “majesty, power, and freedom” to BC’s newspaper, The Heights, in its first year of production. "It is important that we adopt a mascot to preside at our triumphant feats."
Products are mocked up on a size S. Graphics may appear smaller on larger sizes. Our unisex tees run true to size. If you're looking for a roomier fit, we suggest sizing up!
