This retro dad hat, featuring an interlocked "UH" mark outlined in baby blue, takes us right back to the Phi Slama Jama era. From 1982-1984, the Houston Cougars men’s basketball team was known across the land by the famous nickname. Sportswriter Thomas Bonk first penned "Phi Slama Jama" to describe Texas' tallest fraternity, and the Cougars embraced the name so strongly, the team put the nickname on its warmups.
