Led by the now-winningest coach in college basketball, Geno Auriemma, UConn fielded one of the strongest starting fives in women’s college basketball history. Sue Bird, Swin Cash, Asjha Jones, Diana Taurasi and Tamika Williams led the Huskies to their third NCAA national championship with a perfect 39-0 record.
