From 1988 to 2008, this fierce (but still fun!) roadrunner served as UTSA’s primary athletic logo. As evidenced by his uniform, he was doing most of his running on the court, as UTSA began to find its groove in men’s basketball. A few years after this logo retired, the Roadrunners men’s team took their fourth-ever trip to the NCAA tournament in 2011, where their win over Alabama State was the school’s first NCAA tournament win in any sport.
