Initially known as Minnesota Field House when it was opened in 1928, Williams Arena has been home to three Big Ten Championship teams and seen legendary Gophers the likes of Kevin McHale, Mychal Thompson, Dave Winfield, Trent Tucker, and Bobby Jackson light up opposing defenses under that unique roof.
