We found this steaming, retro Drexel Dragon on a 1988 New Student badge, and paired him with a vintage typeface from the same year. Drawn in a similar style to how we usually envision these fantastical creatures, this dragon also bears loose resemblance to “Mario the Magnificent Dragon,” a 14-foot long bronze statue by sculptor Eric Berg that was installed in 2002.
