Through his career as a dynamic driver and lively media personality (“Boogity, boogity, boogity!”), Darrell Waltrip is an undisputed legend of stock car racing. Waltrip joined his friend Rick Hendrick’s racing team in 1987, becoming Hendrick Motorsports’ third Winston Cup entry. By 1989, the Driver of the Decade caught his stride, winning his first ever Daytona 500 in 1989 with Hendrick.
