In the dawning of the NCAA men’s basketball tournament’s 16-team format, the La Salle Explorers were early champions of the newly expanded postseason. The Explorers won their first (and, currently, only) NCAA national championship in 1954, defeating Bradley in a commanding 92-76 win. Philly native and basketball great Tom Gola also earned accolades as the 1954 Most Outstanding Player.

Products are mocked up on a size S. Graphics may appear smaller on larger sizes.
