We found this particularly relaxed panther on the back of a vintage UNI jacket. Though UNI has used the “Panthers” nickname since the 1930s, their mascot was nameless for several years, and became known simply as “The Cat” in the ‘80s. Eventually, though, named panther mascots came to life – TC and TK Panther, who represent UNI to this day.
