Having existed on and off as both a club and varsity sport since 1912, the modern era of Notre Dame hockey kicked off in 1968 when they began play as a Division I independent team. They soon joined the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA), and were members from 1971-1981. This design was recreated from a Notre Dame hockey puck, celebrating the era when the Fighting Irish were led by coach Lefty Smith.

It's a great looking shirt, but read up on this company before you order. They have horrible customer service and if out of the blue you might get your order it will months if not longer.
