The vibrant legacy of Houston sports is summed up all in this original, exclusive design released in tandem with Rice football's 2023 throwback uniforms. Drawing from Rice's take on "Luv Ya Blue!" fever, we incorporated elements of the throwback jersey (including the jersey stripes and font) into this design, which also features a vintage Rice Owls logo from the 1970s. The Owls also played a part in Houston Oilers history; before Bum Phillips and Earl Campbell led the once-downtrodden Oilers fanbase to football fervor, the team played in Rice Stadium for three seasons from 1965-67. Products are mocked up on a size S. Graphics may appear smaller on larger sizes.
