North Carolina’s “Tar Heels” nickname dates back to the state’s early reputation as a great producer of tar and turpentine for naval purposes. The state’s abundant pine forests proved to be a great natural resource, and many of North Carolina’s citizens found work in distilling sap and burning pine boughs. This soft heather tee highlights the school’s unique nickname in a classic script.

Great shirt

Quality was better than I expected and the fit was true to form. Sometimes large can still feel tight but, this one is nice and roomy
