The Tulane Green Wave was a founding member of the SEC, and shortly thereafter, an adorable little football player named Greenie popped up to cheer on the Green Wave. Created by illustrator John Chase in 1945 for football program covers, Greenie has been considered an unofficial mascot for Tulane long after his retirement in 1969. Even when he’s not cheering on the Green Wave, though, he’s always trying to make a helluva catch. Brought to you in partnership with College Vault. Products are mocked up on a size S.
