The University of Southern California opened its doors to 53 students in 1880 after a decade of planning from Judge Robert Maclay Widney and his board of trustees. USC is now home to over 48,000 students and has graduated well-known alumni as John Wayne, Neil Armstrong, Robert Zemeckis, Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, Tom Selleck, Ron Howard, and Judd Apatow. The USC logo on this comfy crewneck was officially used from the early 1980s to the early 90s, when famous USC alum (and 2017 commencement speaker) Will Ferrell was earning his degree.
