This cozy white tee features the first version of the Cincinnati Bearcat mascot, drawn by John "Paddy" Reece for the campus newspaper in 1914. At the time, "Bearcat" was just a nickname for UC football player, Teddy Baehr. Baehr was such a standout against Kentucky that the crowd began to chant, "Come on, Baehr-cat!" After the victory, the famous cartoon featured a UK wildcat being chased by the new creature dubbed the “Cincinnati Bear Cat.”
