In 1968, UCF (then Florida Technological University) introduced their first ever mascot- a half orange and half astronaut hybrid called the “Citronaut.” The character was intended to bring together the growing space program and orange industry dominating Florida at the time. While the mascot was not well received at the time, he has become a beloved part of UCF history. Brought to you in partnership with College Vault.

Awesome, retro design.

Greta print quality on the shirt and an extra comfy shirt at that! Not too tight, not too loose. Fits true to size.

cheap print

Cheap print, visibly large discolored area on the front of the shirt. Size Med is shorter than a size Small (previously purchased). Took 3-weeks to receive one unsatisfactory shirt.

Rendezvous

As I waited in a secluded booth at a diner in Florida, I considered a python lazing on the sunbaked parking lot. Did the creature know it didn’t belong? Did I belong? Does anyone, really?
