On the front of this vintage bomber jacket, we went with Wazzu’s “WSU” logo in the shape of a cougar head. Originally a “WSC” cougar designed in 1936 by student Randall Johnson, the university stuck with the classic design after gaining university status in 1959. Then, on the back, we featured the beautiful helmet script intertwined with a rose that Washington State wore in their matchup at the 1998 Rose Bowl.

Best Throwback Jacket

Amazing jacket all around. Love the feel and look, one of the better throwback jackets I have come across. If you have ever owned and wore one of the original satin jackets from the 80's, you know that they are shorter in length. It fits like a letterman's jacket. If you are in between sizes, order up a size. I am 6'1" and the XL fits me perfectly...but again, I expect it to fit a little shorter. Go Cougs!

For it to be extra large, it was still a bit smaller than I anticipated. I thought an extra large, gonna be a little bit bigger than that however, that’s the only issue. I love the material, I love the color and I love the design.
