This tough-looking Penguin mascot in a football uniform was prevalent in the 1970s, a period of great growth for the YSU program. After 35 years as an independent, the Penguins joined NCAA Division II football in 1973 and continued their winning ways. They joined the Association of Mid-Continent Universities shortly after and immediately won conference titles in 1978 and 1979. By 1981, Youngstown State University was a member of the Ohio Valley Conference and the Penguins were playing Division I football.
Products are mocked up on a size S. Graphics may appear smaller on larger sizes.
Our unisex tees run true to size. If you're looking for a roomier fit, we suggest sizing up!
